I am not certain from the 1st.
paragraph of your Despatch under reply whether the objec-
-tions of the Admiralty to Cape D'Aguilar as a Port War
Signal Station are only those they originally put forward
or whether these have been maintained after receipt of Sir
Gerard Noel's further report. In any event I trust that the
important matter of these War Signal Stations which has
now been the subject of local correspondence since the
11th. June, 1904, will soon be definitely settled.

I have noted the communication
that has been made to Lloyd's referred to in the 2nd.
paragraph of your Despatch and I will await the communica-
-tion promised in the 3rd. paragraph before addressing the
Eastern Extension Company on the subject of their licence
to maintain wireless telegraphy for communication with
their
